Dr. Brian Kinney is a reputable and skilled board certified plastic surgeon with high integrity. His academic training was received at some of the best institutions in the country. Dr. Kinney earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering after completing the rigorous Harvard - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Health Sciences and Technology program in Cambridge. He then attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans and was further trained in general surgery and plastic surgery at UCLA in Los Angeles.

 

Career Achievements


He has served as President of the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation of the US and received its highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award. In addition, he was given a special American Society of Plastic Surgeons Presidential Award for Extraordinary Service to his colleaguesDr. Kinney has appeared on local and national network news shows like ABC’s “Nightline,” the Today Show and CNN. He has been featured on the radio, and in numerous magazines and newspapers including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Newsweek, Time, Los Angeles Times, London Times and New York Times. Dr. Kinney has also been featured in television, radio and print in Europe, Asia, South and Central America. During the Bosnian war, Dr. Kinney led surgical relief missions and later multiple other missions in Mexico. With years of experience, he remains sought after for teaching at national and international conferences, as well as consulting for various biotech and engineering companies. Dr. Kinney has testified before the FDA, authored numerous articles for journals, magazines and textbooks, and his work in the fields of plastic surgery and technology has garnered him awards and distinguished him in the small group of the world’s top plastic surgeons.
